Dimitrios Askitis was employed as a PhD student at the Department on 15th May 2015. He is a part of the section Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics, with Henrik Laurberg Pedersen as his PhD advisor.
Dimitrios completed his undergraduate studies at the mathematics department of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and he then obtained his master degree at the University of Copenhagen. He did his master thesis under Henrik Laurberg Pedersen on universally prestarlike functions.
Dimitrios' research interests lie in complex analysis and applications of it, and with a focus in Pick functions, geometric function theory, special functions and integral transforms.
