Jakob Björnberg, new postdoc
Jakob Björnberg is employed as a postdoc, associated with the section for Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics. He will primarily be working with Bergfinnur Durhuus.
Jakob is interested in statistical physics and probability theory. He has worked on quantum Ising and Heisenberg models as well as random planar maps and questions relating to percolation theory.
Jakob received his PhD in 2009 jointly from Cambridge, UK, and KTH, Sweden, under the main supervision of Geoffrey Grimmett. He has held postdoctoral positions in Cambridge, Uppsala and Göteborg.
