Michael Marcondes de Freitas, postdoc
The Department has employed Michael Marcondes de Freitas as a postdoc from 1 September 2014. He has joined the Statistics and Probability Theory group, where he will do research on chemical reaction networks and dynamical systems under the supervision of Carsten Wiuf and Elisenda Feliu.
Michael is originally from Brazil, where he went to College and got a Masters from University of Brasília in 2008. Michael obtained his PhD in Mathematics last Spring from Rutgers University, in New Jersey, USA, with a thesis titled "A Class of input/output random systems: monotonicity and a small-gain theorem." His PhD thesis research was supervised by Dr. Eduardo D. Sontag.
