George A. Elliott affiliate professor

George Elliott holds a Canada Research Chair at the University of Toronto, and before that, and aside from several honorary positions all over the world, he has for 30 years held a position at the Department of Mathematics, UCPH.

Elliott initiated and has given name to the succesful and ambitious classification program that seeks to classify all simple (and non-simple) separable amenable C*-algebras by K-theoretical invariants.
