Employees

The department has employed AmirHosein Sadeghimanesh as a postdoc from 1 May 2019. He will be working in the research group Mathematics of Reaction Networks (MBIO), within the Statistics and Probability Theory Section.

Since 1 May 2019, Professor Emeritus Frank Hansen has been working with the QMATH Centre and the Section for Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

Felix Lubbe is employed as a postdoc at the department, affiliated whit the Section for Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

Professor Michael Loss from Georgia Institute of Technology is visiting the QMATH-center with Jan Philip Solovej as host.

Henrik Thybo Dam is employed as postdoc at the department's section for Insurance and Economics.

Beatriz Pascual Escudero is employed at the department as a postdoc from March 1st 2019. She is affiliated with the research groups Algebra & Number Theory and Mathematics of reaction networks (MBIO).

Marie Levakova started on February 1st 2019 as a postdoc in the Section of Statistics and Probability Theory. She will be mentored by Susanne Ditlevsen.

Linda Frey started October 1st 2018 as a postdoc at the University of Copenhagen. She will be working with the research group Algebra and Number Theory.

Jitendra Prakash started as a postdoc at the University of Copenhagen 1 October 2018. He will be working at the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH).

Thomas Wasserman started as a Postdoc at the Department for Mathematical Sciences 1 October 2018 in the research group Topology. He will be mentored by Nathalie Wahl.

Renee Hoekzema started on the 1st of October 2018 as a postdoc in the Topology group, mentored by Søren Galatius. 

Mogens Bladt, professor of applied probability and insurance mathematics, and Mathias Drton, professor of statistics, will give their inaugural lectures Friday 2 November 2018 at 14:00 followed by a reception.

Ryomei Iwasa started on 1st October 2018 as a postdoc at the University of Copenhagen. He will be working with the research groups Topology and Algebra & Number Theory, affiliated with Center for Symmetry and Deformation. His postdoc mentor is Professor Lars Hesselholt.

Rubén Martos is hired as a postdoc at the Department of Mathematical Sciences of the University of Copenhagen from 1st October 2018 within the Centre for Symmetry and Deformation. He is part of the research group “Non-Commutative Geometry” and his post-doc mentor is Ryszard Nest.

Cody Gunton began as a postdoc at the departments Centre for Symmetry and Deformation on 1 October 2018.
