Beren Sanders has been employed as a postdoc at the Center for Symmetry and Deformation, Department of Mathematical Sciences, starting September 1st, 2014.

Anders Christian Jensen is employed from July 1st, 2014, as a postdoc at the Department of Mathematical Sciences - within the Laboratory for Applied Statistics.

Lars Halvard Halle is employed as associate professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences from 1 August 2014, working with the research group Algebra and Number Theory.

Olga Bershteyn is employed as a postdoc at Department of Mathematical Sciences from the 1st of June, 2014. She works in the research group Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

Lars Lau Raket has been employed as a postdoctoral researcher in the Statistics and Probability Theory group.

With effect of April 1, the Dean has appointed Matthias Christandl as Professor for Mathematical Physics at the Department of Mathematical Sciences. He is working with the research group Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics.

Hans-Bjørn Foxby, born 12 February 1947, was MSc in 1969 and Licentiate (PhD) in 1973 from the University of Copenhagen. Since 1975 he has been employed at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, UCPH, first as an associate professor and later as a senior associate professor (1988).

The Dean has appointed Niels Richard Hansen Professor of "Computational Statistics" at the Department of Mathematical Sciences.
