The Dean has appointed George A. Elliott affiliate professor in operator algebra from August 1^st, 2013, at The Department of Mathematical Sciences, University of Copenhagen.

Martin Vincent is hired from August 1st, 2013, researching with the Statistics and Probability Theory group.

As of July 29, 2013 has Ian Kennedy been employed at the Department of Mathematical Sciences for six months.

Christopher Davis arrived at the University of Copenhagen on July 1st, 2013, as a postdoc funded by Lars Hesselholt's Niels Bohr professorship.

Department of Mathematical Sciences has appointed Jesper Andreasen (Danske Bank), Søren Jarner (ATP) and Thomas Møller (PFA Pension) for adjunct professors. The three gives inaugural lectures on Friday 5 April 2013 from pm. 13 to 17.

Since 11 February 2013, Jim Høyer been employed at the Department of Mathematical Sciences as temporary communications officer.
