Therese Graversen, postdoc
Therese Graversen has joined the Department of Mathematical Sciences from 1 August 2014 and will be working in the Statistics and Probability Theory group.
Since 2008, Therese has been with the Department of Statistics at University of Oxford where she studied towards an MSc in Applied Statistics, followed by a DPhil (ph.d.) in Statistics, although with a small break to complete her MSc in Statistics from the University of Copenhagen.
During her DPhil, she has been working under the supervision of Steffen Lauritzen in the area of statistical analysis of forensic DNA mixtures.
In her research, she has developed statistical methodology for the analysis of DNA mixtures and exploited computational methodology for Bayesian networks to efficiently evaluate the likelihood function in traditionally complex models for DNA mixtures.
Therese's office is 04.3.25.
