Katja Thorseth Head of Administration

Katja Thorseth was on January 1 2013 appointed to Head of Administration at Department of Mathematical Sciences. The promotion is part of the general administrative reorganization of SCIENCE, following which all Departments are bound to have a high level Head of Administration.

Together with Head of Department Erik Kjær Pedersen and the two Deputy Heads, Katja is part of the Department Management. Besides that she performs the daily and professional management of the administrative personnel at the Department. Furthermore she is Head of the Communication Committee at the Department and coordinator of the Study Introduction at the three bachelor educations.

Katja has a Bachelors degree in mathematics from the Department and a sociological Masters degree in Political Communication and Management from Copenhagen Business School. This gives her excellent qualifications for holding this position.
