Ryo Horiuchi is employed as a PhD student at MATH from June 2015, funded by Lars Hesselholt's Niels Bohr Professorship.
Ryo will be associated with the research groups Topology and Algebra & Number Theory. His PhD advisor is Lars Hesselholt.
Ryo’s research interests lie in homotopy theory. He will be studying topological Hochschild homology of semi-rings.
Ryo has his Master's degree from Nagoya University, Japan, with Lars Hesselholt as supervisor of his thesis. His master thesis was titled "Quasicategorifications and Subdivisions".
