Joshua Hunt, PhD student at SYM
Newly employed
Joshua Hunt started at the University of Copenhagen on September 1st, 2016. He will be working with the Centre for Symmetry and Deformation (SYM), with Jesper Grodal as his supervisor.
Previously, Josh studied at Cambridge University in the UK, where he did his undergraduate degree and the Part III Master's level degree.
In Copenhagen he will be finishing his Master’s degree, and then continue as a PhD student at the Department of Mathematical Sciences – on a so called 4+4 scheme.
Josh's research is in algebraic topology; he will be looking at the rôle of Picard groups in algebra and topology.
