Christian Majenz, PhD student
Christian Majenz is employed as a PhD student at the department of Mathematical Sciences from 1 June 2014. He will be working with the research group Geometric Analysis and Mathematical Physics.
Christian’s PhD-project will focus on quantum entropies and quantum entropy inequalities; his supervisor is Professor Matthias Christandl.
Christian earned both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree at University of Freiburg, Germany. During his master's program he took a short break to join the group of Daniel Lidar at University of Southern California, Los Angeles, for a research project on Markovian quantum master equations.
Christian’s master's thesis is titled "Constraints on Multipartite Quantum Entropies" and was supervised by David Gross.
Christian’s office is 04.3.21.
