Mads Christian Hansen, new PhD student
Mads Christian Hansen is employed at the section for Statistics and Probability Theory, and will work in the Dynamical Systems Interdisciplinary Network and Mathematics of Reaction Networks groups.
His PhD-project will look at the relationship between deterministic and stochastic dynamical systems in relation to reaction network theory, although the final shape is still to be determined. Mads’ advisor is Carsten Wiuf.
Mads has just finished a second masters degree in Mathematical Modelling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford. Before that he obtained a bachelor and masters degree from the University of Copenhagen, focusing on differential topology. His thesis, "Teichmüller theory and dynamics", was supervised by Nathalie Wahl.
Mads's office is in 04.3.28.
