Aleksei Kulikov, postdoc
Aleksei Kulikov started on 15 September 2024 as a postdoc in the Analysis & Quantum Section.
Aleksei got a B.Sc. from the Saint-Petersburg State University, Russia, after which he moved to Norway where he got his PhD at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) under the supervision of Prof. Kristian Seip. Before coming to Denmark, he also spent 2 years as a postdoc at the Tel Aviv University in Israel.
Here in Copenhagen Aleksei will join the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory, working with Prof. Jan Philip Solovej.
Aleksei's interests lie in Analysis and the analytical formulations of the uncertainty principle, and he hopes to apply his knowledge of complex and harmonic analysis to the study of the mathematical properties of the Bose gas and the magnetic Schrödinger operators.
You can find Aleksei at the QMath office in Vibenshuset.
