Angelo Lucia, postdoc at QMATH
Angelo Lucia has joined the department as a postdoc with the Villum Centre of Excellence for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH) starting on December 1st 2016. Matthias Christandl is his postdoc mentor.
Angelo will also be working with Michael J. Kastoryano's Quantum Information group at the Niels Bohr International Academy.
Angelo completed his PhD in Mathematics in July 2016 at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Spain, under the supervision of prof. David Perez-Garcia and Toby S. Cubitt. Before that he has studied his bachelor and master degrees in University of Pisa, Italy.
Angelo's research interest is the interactions between quantum information theory and many-body quantum physics. He has worked on open dissipative dynamics, area laws, and he is interested in tensor network states.
Angelo sits in office 04.0.11
