Ashutosh Goswami, postdoc
Ashutosh Goswami started as a postdoc on 1st July 2023, within the QMATH Centre. His supervisor is Matthias Christandl.
Ashutosh is originally from India. He obtained a master's degree in physics from the Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, and a PhD in the field of quantum information from the University of Grenoble Alpes (France). The thesis name was “Quantum Polar Codes”, supervised by Mehdi Mhalla and Valentin Savin.
He did his first postdoc at the CEA-LETI, Grenoble (France).
Ashutosh is interested in quantum error-correcting codes and fault-tolerant implementations of quantum protocols. Previously, he has worked on different aspects of quantum polar codes, such as polar codes for quantum communication in an entanglement-assisted setting and also on the fault-tolerant implementation of encoding and decoding of polar codes.
You can find Ashutosh at Vibenshuset, Lyngbyvej 1.
