Azélie Picot, PhD student
Newly employed
Azélie Picot has begun a PhD at the Department of Mathematical Sciences in September 2023. She will be working with the “Copenhagen Centre for Geometry and Topology”.
Azélie intends to work on cobordism categories and moduli spaces, which were the subject of her master’s thesis under the supervision of Oscar Randal-Williams at Cambridge University.
Her PhD advisor is Søren Galatius.
Previously she did her bachelor's and master's in mathematics at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris (ENS) and Université Paris Cité.
She is also interested in questions of gender diversity in science.
