Fadi Mezher, PhD student
Fadi Mezher has been employed at the department since 1 October 2022; first as a research assistant, and from January 2023 as a PhD student.
Fadi will work in the section Algebra & Geometry with the Copenhagen Centre of Geometry and Topology. His advisors is Professor Nathalie Wahl and Professor Søren Galatius, and he will be working on topics at the intersection of algebraic and geometric topology.
Fadi is originally from Lebanon, where he obtained his Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the American University of Beirut. He then obtained his Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Bonn, Germany, where he wrote his master's thesis under the supervision of Dr Arunima Ray. The topic of the thesis was Kreck's modified surgery theory, and applications to the classifications of 4-manifolds.
