Farzaneh Pourahmadi, postdoc

Newly employed

Farzaneh Pourahmadi is employed as a postdoc at the Department of Mathematical Sciences under the supervision of Trine Krogh Boomsma.

Farzaneh will be affiliated with the research group Mathematics of Insurance and Economics.

She received the M.S. and PhD degrees in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2014 and 2019, respectively.

From June 2018 to June 2019, she was a visiting researcher in the Department of Electrical Engineering, Technical University of Denmark (DTU).

Her research interests include power system planning and operation, as well as optimization and its application to power systems.
