Frank Hansen, Professor Emeritus

Frank Hansen studied mathematics and physics at the University of Copenhagen; conducted study and research in France, Swiss and Japan; became Master of Science, PhD (licentiate - in 1983), and Doctor of Science (in 2000).

Frank Hansen held positions as associate professor at Copenhagen University and Tohoku University, and as professor at Tohoku University.

Frank Hansen has given contributions to the theory of operator inequalities, convexity or monotonicity of operator mappings, entropy inequalities and entropy characterization, quantum information theory, geodesically convex trace functions, and multivariate operator means.
