Frederik Hindborg Jensen, research assistant
Newly employed
Frederik Hindborg Jensen started on 1 March 2022 as a research assistant in the section for Statistics and Probability Theory under Susanne Ditlevsen.
Frederik is employed for one year on a research project on narwhal behaviour, in a collaboration between UCPH and The Greenland Institute of Natural Resources.
Frederik's research will be based on his thesis "Modeling and Classification of Narwhal Foraging Behavior Using Logistic Regression and Random Forests". He expects to mainly look at mixed-effects modelling, time series analysis and potentially some machine learning.
Frederik has a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in statistics - both here from the department.
You can find Frederik in room 04.4.05.
