Leonard Henckel, postdoc
Newly employed
Leonard Henckel is employed as a postdoc in the section Statistics and Probability Theory from 1 October 2021. He works with Jonas Peters in the Copenhagen Causality Lab.
Leonard got both his MSc and his PhD from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, under the supervision of Marloes H. Maathuis. His thesis is entitled "Graphical tools for efficient causal effect estimation".
Leonard's research interests include causal discovery, efficiency, asymptotic statistics and causal inference. Currently, he focuses mainly on instrumental variable estimators and causal graph verification procedures.
