Lubashan Pathirana, postdoc
Lubashan Pathirana was employed 1 August 2023 in the department’s section for Analysis & Quantum, associated with the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH).
Lubashan’s main research focus lies in the intersection of Quantum Information, Probability and Dynamical Systems. He is mainly interested in incorporating Dynamical systems aspects to quantum information theory. His postdoc mentor will be Prof. Albert H. Werner.
Lubashan has a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Mathematics from the University of Colombo (Sri Lanka), and a M.Sc. in Mathematics from Ohio University (USA).
He graduated (PhD) from Michigan State University (USA) in the 2023 summer. Prof. Jeffrey Schenker supervised his thesis, “Limiting Theorems for Stationary and Ergodic Quantum Processes”.
