Mads Christian Hansen, postdoc at MBIO
Mads Christian Hansen is employed at the department as a postdoc, affiliated with the section for Statistics and Probability Theory and the research group Mathematics of reaction networks (MBIO).
The general topic of Mads’ research is in stochastic dynamical systems. In particular, Mads is interested in quasi-stationarity seen from both a probabilistic, computational and statistical viewpoint, especially within reaction networks. His mentor is Carsten Wiuf.
Mads has a master’s in Mathematics from the University of Copenhagen as well as one in Mathematical Modeling and Scientific Computing from the University of Oxford. In 2018 Mads obtained his PhD with the dissertation “Quasi-stationarity in Stochastic Reaction Networks”, supervised by Carsten Wiuf.
