Marek Miller, postdoc
Marek Miller was employed as a postdoc on 1 March 2023. He will work with the QMATH research group.
Marek's work focuses on mathematical aspects of quantum information theory, specifically positive maps of operator algebras, CP-divisibility, and quantum dynamical semigroups. His current interest also includes quantum catalysis and quantum resource theory. His mentor is Matthias Christiandl.
Marek obtained his PhD in physics at the University of Wrocław, Poland, in July 2016. His advisor was Prof. Robert Olkiewicz. The thesis title was "Mathematical methods of operator algebras in the analysis of an entanglement criterion of composite quantum systems".
Marek worked as a postdoc at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (2016-2019) as a member of Tomasz Peterek's research group. Then he moved to the University of Warsaw, Poland (2020-2023) as a member of the group led by Alexander Streltsov.
You can find Marek at the QMATH office in Vibenshuset.
