Matthieu Bulté, PhD student

Matthieu Bulté is employed as a PhD student from September 1st 2021, affiliated with the Statistics and Probability section.
Matthieu grew up in France and obtained his Bachelor and Master degrees in mathematics from the Technical University of Munich (Germany). His Master’s thesis was about using higher-order likelihood approximations for hypothesis tests in high-dimensional Gaussian graphical models.
In Copenhagen, Matthieu will be working on statistical methods for time-series of functional data under the supervision of Professor Helle Sørensen. Matthieu will be co-supervised by Professor Christiane Fuchs at the University of Bielefeld (Germany) where he will spend a year.
