Márton Hablicsek, postdoc
Newly employed
Márton Hablicsek started 1 August as a postdoc in the Section for Topology, Functional Analysis and Algebra. He will be working with Centre for Symmetry and Deformation. His postdoc mentor is Professor Ryszard Nest.
Márton completed his Bachelor and Master degree in Mathematics at Eotvos Lorand University, Budapest (Hungary). He finished his PhD at University of Wisconsin-Madison (USA) under the supervision of Professor Andrei Caldararu. Then, he was a postdoc for three years at University of Pennsylvania (USA).
Marton's research is in algebraic geometry with focus on Derived Algebraic Geometry and Combinatorial Algebraic Geometry.
