Predrag Pilipovic, research assistant
Predrag is employed as a research assistant working with the section for Statistics and Probability Theory. Later he will begin as a PhD student under supervision from Susanne Ditlevsen.
Predrag finished his Bachelor's studies in Mathematics with focus on Probability and Statistics at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. Although the Bachelor’s degree program lasts for four years (240 ECTS) at the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade, Predrag is the only one in his generation who graduated a year in advance, i.e. in three years.
Later on, Predrag obtained the Master of Science degree in Industrial and Applied Mathematics shared by the University of Grenoble Alpes and Grenoble Institute of Technology (Grenoble INP). His thesis is called "Coupled Audio-Visual Multi-Speaker Tracking" and defended under the supervision of professor Xavier Alameda-Pineda.
In Copenhagen, Predrag will deal with Statistical inference for Coupled Stochastic Processes under the supervision of Professor Susanne Ditlevsen.
Predrag is interested in Statistical Modeling (like Probabilistic Graphical Models) applied in Machine Learning, Bayesian Statistics, Stochastic Processes and Time Series Analysis, as well as Sampling Algorithms.
