Robert Jonsson, postdoc at QMATH
Robert Jonsson joined the Centre for the Mathematics of Quantum Theory (QMATH) at the University of Copenhagen as postdoc on November 1st, 2017.
Robert obtained his Bachelor's degree from the University of Regensburg in 2010, and went on to the University of Cambridge for Part III of the Mathematical Tripos. He completed his PhD in 2016 at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, with a thesis called “Decoupling of Information Propagation from Energy Propagation”, under the supervision of Achim Kempf.
Robert then worked as a postdoc at Chalmers University of Technology (Göteborg, Sweden), in the group of Göran Johansson at the Department of Microtechnology and Nanoscience.
Robert's research in the field of Relativistic Quantum Information explores how communication is fundamentally impacted by combined quantum and relativistic effects.
