Shachar Carmeli, postdoc
Newly employed
Shachar Carmeli was employed on 1 September 2021 as a postdoc in the department’s section of Algebra & Geometry, working with the Copenhagen Centre for Geometry and Topology.
Shachar got his PhD from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Israel, under the supervision of Professor Dmitry Gourevitch.
He is interested in stable and chromatic homotopy theory, representation theory, and algebraic geometry. Currently, he is working on higher semiadditivity in chromatic homotopy theory and its relation to algebraic K-theory, and on the theory of Nash stacks.
