Fabian Portman, postdoc

Department of Mathematical Sciences has employed Fabian Portmann as postdoc in the Geometrical Analysis and Mathematical Physics group, starting 1 September 2014.

Fabian recently completed his PhD at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm and will continue his research in mathematical physics with Jan Philip Solovej as a mentor.

Fabians research revolves around spectral theory of differential operators and quantum mechanics, in particular the spectral analysis of Schrödinger operators.
