Tomasz will be studying connections between combinatorial and homotopy theoretical properties of Davis-Januszkiewicz spaces under supervison of Jesper Michael Møller.
Tomasz graduated from University of Warsaw in July 2013. His master thesis 'Infinite systolic groups are not torsion' concerns groups acting on non-positively curved simplicial complexes.
