Eduardo Scarparo, PhD student
Eduardo Scarparo started as a PhD student at the Department of Mathematical Sciences on 1 September 2014. He is affiliated with the research group Non-commutative Geometry and has Mikael Rørdam as supervisor.
Eduardo has a master's degree in mathematics from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, Brazil. His master thesis is titled "Generalized Toeplitz Algebras".
Eduardo's research interests are in operator algebras. His PhD project will address problems related to isometric representations of semigroups and the class of semigroup C*-algebras."
