David Sprehn, new postdoc

David Sprehn is starting as a postdoc in the Centre for Symmetry and Deformation on 15th September 2015. His postdoc mentor is Jesper Grodal.

David studies the modular cohomology of the general linear groups over finite fields, and of other finite groups of Lie type. Besides finite group cohomology, he is interested in group actions, bundles, and characteristic classes.

David completed his PhD under Steve Mitchell at the University of Washington in July.
