Titel: The homology of Brauer algebras

Abstract: In this talk, we will compare the homology of Brauer algebras to the homology of the symmetric groups. In the progress, we introduce the Brauer algebra, recall ideas to prove homological stability, and give insights into the proof of the theorem. This is joint work with Rachael Boyd and Richard Hepworth.
