Title: The compositum of all degree-p extensions of a local field of residual characteristic p.

Abstract: We determine the Galois group of this compositum extension, along with its ramification filtration.  This provides a parametrisation of degree-p extensions, and a conceptual proof of Serre's mass formula in the case of degree p.
