Young Geometers Meeting
University of Copenhagen - 19-23 April 2021
The Young Geometers Meeting is a workshop focused on differential geometry and geometric analysis taking place in Copenhagen April, 19-23, 2021. The meeting is intended as an opportunity for graduate students, recent PhDs, and other junior researchers in geometry to meet each other and share their work. In addition to short talks by the participants, the program for the meeting will include lectures by Anna Dall'Acqua (Ulm University), Oliver Schnürer (University of Konstanz) and Antoine Song (Berkeley). We accept online contributions and all talks will be live streamed.

Update (15/2/2021):
Due to the present Covid situation and its foreseeable development we regret to announce that until further notice the Young Geometers Meeting will take place online entirely. All registered participants will be informed how to join the conference online in due time. In case the situation in April allows for a meeting in person we will gladly invite as many participants as possible to join us in Copenhagen.
- Anna Dall'Acqua - On the Elastic flow
- Oliver Schnürer - Geometric flow equations
- Antoine Song - Minimal Surfaces
The conference is going to take place in two parallel virtual venues. The talks and the tour through the National Gallery of Denmark will take place via Zoom.
Additionally, we provide a Gather space where the participants can socialize in smaller groups, either while standing in line for virtual coffee or while discussing the particularities of the last talk on a shared whiteboard. Furthermore, the reception on Monday and the poster session on Wednesday will be held in Gather.
We encourage all participants to use Gather in order to make the conference feel as lively as possible, so please register at https://gather.town and read our short introduction.
The log in data will be shared with all registered participants.
We kindly ask the participants to arrange their own accommodation.
On Monday evening (UCT) there is a reception on the roof top of the Gather space and on Wednesday evening (UTC) we have guided tour of the National Gallery of Denmark.
