Young Topologists Meeting 2016University of CopenhagenJuly 4-8, 2016 |
The Young Topologists Meeting is an annual event that is organized in turns by the EPFL, Switzerland and the University of Copenhagen. The YTM 2016 took place in Copenhagen July 4-8, 2016. The meeting is intended as an opportunity for graduate students, recent PhDs, and other junior researchers in topology to meet each other and share their work. In addition to short talks by the participants, the program for the meeting included lectures by Akhil Mathew (Harvard University), Oscar Randal-Williams (University of Cambridge) and Nathalie Wahl (University of Copenhagen).
Schedule, notes and abstracts
The schedule is available here, a list of abstracts is available here. Akhil Mathew produced a set of notes for his mini course which are available from his webpage.
Support
We provided accommodation for a large number of participants. In addition, there was funding from the NSF to offer compensation of travel expenses for a number of participants from US institutions. Unfortunately, we were not able to offer funding for travel expenses of other participants.
We gratefully acknowledge financial support from the Centre for Symmetry and Deformation and NSF grant DMS-1612162. Special thanks go to Cary Malkiewich for his help as Principal Investigator.
