Thomas Blom, gæsteforsker
Thomas Blom er det næste år tilknyttet som gæsteforsker ved Sektion for Algebra & Geometri og Center for Geometri og Topologi.
Thomas' forskning er støttet af et stipendium fra The Knut and Alice Wallenbergs Foundation. Thomas' postdoc-mentor er Jesper Grodal.
- My interests lie in abstract homotopy theory, with a particular focus on the theory of Goodwillie calculus. My current main project focusses on producing extra structure on the derivatives in Goodwillie calculus, with the aim proving a generalization of the chain rule of Arone-Ching, forklarer Thomas.
Thomas afsluttede sin ph.d. ved Stockholms Universitet under vejledning af Gregory Arone. Før det fik han sin bachelorgrad fra Utrecht University (Holland).
